Grant Camp Weekend Intensive
January 19-21, 2018
In this three-day virtual workshop, I walk you through the major components of a NIH and CIHR health research grant application, and I teach you the writing skills and strategies you need to set yourself apart from the competition.
Each day includes teaching, Q&A sessions, and optional guided writing time. I also make you do homework, so...at the very least, you'll have someone lighting a fire under your butt for three days.
Can't make the live teaching sessions? No big deal. Watch the replay later and send me your questions by email (yes - I'm giving you personal support!).
Day One: Positioning your research
Learn what reviewers really want to know about your research, and how to write about it, in the key grant sections. Learn how to be consistent across the sections without being redundant.
Day Two: Describing your project and Team
Learn how to describe what you'll do and how you'll do it in a way that resonates with reviewers. Learn key strategies for making the most out of your descriptions of your research team and your collaborators.
Day Three: Writing your budget and pulling everything together
Learn the essentials of strategic budgeting, and discover writing techniques to make your proposal stand out from the competition.
